Located at Bathurst and Adelaide in Toronto the Theatre offered little to the students in the way of outside inspiration. The garden was basicaly pea gravel with multiple sun shade tents propped up everywhere and not much in the way of gardens.
The design by Haig Safarian was a simple paving made intricate by the addition of paver quilting or changing of the texture, size, and color of the pavers so as to add interest in a complimentary way. Wooden pergolas and entries were added for interest and garden plants and features finished it all to perfection. Much more useable when the students want to practice lines or just sit and read.
